The hands of TAMR HENNA — Palestinian craft and making
Inside TAMR HENNA

The Hands.

Every piece begins with an idea and ends in someone’s hands. What happens between is the work.

Where it begins

Palestinian women were the first makers of this language.

For centuries, Palestinian women stitched meaning into fabric. Each pattern carried information — about place, season, status, and memory. The embroidery was not decoration. It was a record. A way of saying: I was here. This land was mine. I will not be forgotten.

TAMR HENNA begins in the same place. Not in a factory. Not in a trend. In the visual language that Palestinian women built, stitch by stitch, generation by generation.

Every piece in the collection is shaped by that language — translated from thread into silver, from cloth into something that can be worn, held, and given.

“The stitch is not ornament. It is memory pressed into fabric. We press it into silver.”

The making

From sketch to silver.

Each TAMR HENNA piece begins as a drawing. A geometry observed, a pattern studied, a shape decided. Only then does the work of making begin.

The pieces are crafted in sterling silver 925 — a material chosen for its quality, its weight, and its ability to hold fine detail. Each piece is finished by hand before it leaves the workshop.

The result is a piece that carries both precision and warmth — two things that rarely meet, and always should.

The process

What happens between the idea and your hands.

01

The Source

A motif, a pattern, or a geometry from Palestinian embroidery or Arab visual heritage is selected and studied. Its proportions, its logic, its meaning are understood before anything is drawn.

02

The Translation

The pattern moves from reference to design. From embroidery to a form that can be worn. This is where the creative direction happens — what to keep, what to simplify, what the silver can hold.

03

The Making

The piece is crafted in sterling silver 925, then finished in 18k gold plating or rhodium plating. Each piece is checked before it is packed.

04

The Finish

Hand-finished. Inspected. Placed in a TAMR HENNA gift box. A piece that began as a sketch is now ready to be worn, gifted, and kept.

05

The Arrival

Free worldwide shipping. UAE and Jordan: 1–3 days. International: 7–14 days. The piece arrives as it should — protected, wrapped, and ready to be held.

06

The Story

The piece carries a name. A place. A memory. What the wearer does with it from here is their own chapter in a longer story.

The material

Sterling Silver 925.

Every TAMR HENNA piece is made from sterling silver 925 — the same standard used by the world’s most respected silversmiths. It holds fine detail. It ages well with proper care. It lasts.

Each piece is available in 18k gold plating or rhodium plating. Both finishes are the same price. Both are made to be worn every day.
